Storm Cloud Crane, the 11 year old son (Australian Shepherd dog) of Maxine and Harvey Crane, passed away on Tuesday July 18th of 2006. He died quietly in his sleep at about noon from complications with Osteoarthritis. Storm Cloud was a veteran of many road trips in the motor home, having traveled as far as California and Wisconsin. Visitors to Maxine and Harvey's home in The Spruce Creek Fly In knew that all activity stopped at noon to walk Storm Cloud. He was born on February 2nd of 1995 and we took him home with us when he was just a "new puppy in the window". Storm was cremated and his boxed ashes are now in his mothers (Maxine) casket, under her arm, in the Crane Family's Mausoleum, located in the new Lohman Daytona Beach memorial Park on Bellevue Avenue. After almost one year I have
adopted a new Australian Sheppard puppy. He was born of the Fourth
of July 2007 and after eight weeks I picked him up from the breeder on
the sixth of September. After two months, my arms are full of
puncture holes. I've never raised a puppy before, so those that
have raised a puppy will understand what I am talking about. The
new puppy's name is Stormy. We will have a picture here, someday. |
